From heritage to future
Ranked as one of the most historic architecture practices in Greece, Vikelas Architects own a portfolio of over 800 projects designed since the 1950s. Ranging from apartment complexes to museums, public institutions and airports, they have shaped Athens' skyline with some of the most iconic and highest structures in the city, such as the Apollo and Athens Tower. Their new visual identity is based on a typographic system, which, inspired by the name, the design mentality and the era that the practice was founded in, projects a future facing attitude while keeping the existing work in a forefront position. This treatment was applied throughout their corporate material, maximising the impact of their new identity.
